Kopeepee, Thailand

Kopeepee KoPeePee Island is about 20 minutes from Krabi by boat, off the Southern Peninsula of Thailand. It is one the most beautiful places. It was relatively inexpensive when I went there, in 1990. It was still kind of Gilligan's Island then and no one really knew where is was. Then later on I heard it got a little bit built up, then it was hit by the tsunami in 2004. I am not sure what it is like now. When I was there however, the coral reefs were pristine. The whole island was peaceful and scenic. I was Gilligan for about 2 weeks. If you ever go there take the tour from Krabi which goes to the Floating Market, James Bond Island, ect.
